MIT STRIKE 225-1 — digital sclerometer for non-destructive testing of concrete strength using the elastic rebound method. Designed for rapid determination of concrete strength directly on a construction site or during technical inspection of buildings and structures.

The built-in three-axis gyroscope automatically takes into account the angle of inclination during testing - this is a key difference from base model STRIKE 225. Impact energy 2,207 J conforms to the international standard hammer type N.

Results are displayed on a 2.8-inch color display. Memory — up to 1000 test series and 100,000 impacts. Data transfer through USB и Bluetooth to the M-IT application. Battery 3200 mA·h - up to 3 days of work.

The basic delivery includes everything for immediate start-up.

Standard
Key advantages
1
Less demanding on the surface — does not require careful preparation compared to shock-pulse devices.
2
Coefficient of variation less than 10% — high repeatability of results on homogeneous concrete.
3
Impact energy 2,207 J — deeper assessment of concrete structure, stable results.
4
15 calibration dependencies — possibility of construction for specific test conditions.
5
Compatible with global standards — advantage when working with foreign companies.
PRO
Why this instrument is part of the PRO line
1
Automatic impact angle calculation — built-in accelerometer detects the angle and automatically corrects the result.
2
Full data entry for the protocol — customer, project, object. Flexible odds settings.
3
Data transfer to the M-IT application — synchronization with smartphone, cloud storage.
4
Protocol generation software — automatic generation of reports without manual input.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to questions about MIT STRIKE 225-1
Is there auto-detecting the angle of impact??
+
Yes, the built-in accelerometer automatically detects the angle of impact and corrects the test result.
What's the difference from MIT STRIKE 225?
+
MIT STRIKE 225-1 equipped with an accelerometer for automatically determining the angle of impact, a touch display, advanced settings and support for data transfer to a smartphone in the M-IT application.
What is the strength measurement range?
+
MIT STRIKE 225-1 measures the strength of concrete from 10 up to 60 MPa.
Is it possible to build calibration dependencies??
+
Yes. The device implements a basic dependence, plus the ability to construct 15 own calibration dependences. It is also possible to change the Kc coefficient.
How is the Schmidt hammer different? from shock-pulse method?
+
Schmidt hammer MIT STRIKE has an impact energy of 2.7 kJ versus 0.3 kJ for shock-pulse devices. This allows you to analyze concrete to a depth of 10–20 cm. The scatter of results is much smaller - the data is more stable.
Is it possible to change the compliance coefficient (Ks)?
+
Yes, there is such a possibility.
